Heart of Midlothian Football Club War Memorial
Location: Haymarket
OS Ref: NT 241 732
Designer: Harry Snell Gamley
The famous clock tower in Haymarket to the players and members of Hearts who fought in two World Wars.
There are plans to move this as part of the ongoing tram works in the City. It was to be moved to Coates Crescent near the Gladstone Monument but after a public outcry it will stay in Haymarket during the building work.
Thanks to Jim McGinlay for the photographs
