Lighthouse Headstone, Kirkmaiden Churchyard
Location: Kirkmaiden Churchyard, Drummore, Dumfries & Galloway
OS Ref:

Situated above Drummore in the South Rinns of Galloway and overlooking Luce bay

This splendid headstone is up behind the church at the top of the hill.



Unfortunately I couldn't make out the inscription, I think the date of death is the 1850s but it is a pretty faithful representation of the Mull of Galloway lighthouse just a few miles down the coast.
