Large sculpture dedicated to the scientist Sir William Thomson, Baron Kelvin of Largs.

Location: Situated in Kelvingrove Park on west side of Kelvin Way.

Sculptor: Archibald MacFarlane Shannan, 1913

I wonder if this memorial provided some inspiration for Stoddart's recent James Clerk Maxwell Statue in Edinburgh?
