Lion of Scotland
Location: Beside Holyrood House Car Park, Holyrood Park
I took this very poor image a few months ago and have always meant to return. This will have to do in the mean time.
This was one of several stone animals by local sculptor Ronald Rae that were displayed in Holyrood Park in 2006-2007. The rest have gone but this one near the Scottish Parliament buildingis to remain here for the next two years.

And here he is in his new location in St Andrew Square.
As far as I know he's here for the foreseeable future. I didn't realise I didn't take close ups of this memorial so I'll try and get some more snaps
