Hello

I was one of the founder members of the Scottish War Memorials Project. In setting up that forum we wanted a place to share photographs of war memorials between like-minded individuals. That developed from a simple discussion forum to a full blown project to record all of Scotland’s war memorials.

I have no such grand plans for this forum. My intention is for it to be a place for people to share their photographs of interesting memorials, monuments and monumental sculpture from around Scotland.

When photographing war memorials you often come across other memorials and monuments which can‘t be posted on that forum but are striking pieces of public art which should have a place to be shared. Not finding anywhere else suitable for my own photographs I have created this forum.
