The panel set into the exterior wall of the boathouse commemorates the 8 men of the crew of the 'Mona' who perished in 1959. Sculptor was Scott Sutherland. Sorry I don't have a better photo of the panel, will try to update. more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifeboat_Mona
