Royal Scots Crest
Location: Hailes Street, off Gilmore Place, Tollcross, Edinburgh
OS Ref: NT 248 727
This stonework used to be on the end of the building whilst it was still a TA building. I hope I've got some photographs of what it used to look like which I can find.
It was originally built as the Drill Hall for the 6th Bn Royal Scots in 1911. It was later used by RAMC units until being converted to flats just a couple of years ago.
This Royal Scots badge is all that remains to show it was a Drill Hall.
This wall is not original.
