These two granite scupltures are by Japanese artist Atsuo Okamoto and were temporarily displayed in Gayfield Square Gardens in Edinburgh in September 2010.

From The Independant

A pair of his sculptures also grace the Gayfield Square Gardens down the road; these vulnerable human figures (Forest H-1/Forest H-2, 2008), kneeling and standing, are pitted from head to foot with light-filled indentations that make the solid forms seem weightless.

The artist has sculpted these figures and drilled through granite remember.
